We started Wayland in August 2008 and have been stunned at our growth. Managing the change has been great fun but in order to continue to offer you great deals and better service we need to continue changing.

We have some great things happening in 2011.

Just to give to a taster:

Warehouse move: Doesn't feel like we've been here five minutes but we're already looking for our next base of operations

New Website: We know we've been saying this for a while now but it really is coming and it really is great looking and should be on your screens by the start of Q2 at the latest.

New Ranges: We're always adding to our ranges, new systems, new manufacturers, we're as excited at new stuff being released as you!

Full Stock Holding: When we opened we intended to work on a minimal stock holding approach and order in stock for each days orders, as we have grown this has been increasingly cumbersome to manage and so part of the reason for the move was our drive to operate a best in class full stock holding model. This has now been given a push by GW's once a week ordering limit. We have increased our stockholding a lot over the last few months. We still are tweaking ideal stock levels, and our website doesnt yet accurately display real time stock info for all items but it will and you can rest assured that of all the independant games retailers out there we hold more stock than anyone.
