Q. What is the Wayland Games Loyalty Scheme

From June 19th we intend to trial our Loyalty points scheme to gauge how time consuming it is to manage. You will gain Loyalty point for each £1 spent in the store.
These points can then be used against future orders. Points are granted on dispatch and full completion of the points earning order. You cannot exchange Loyalty points balances outside of Wayland Games and they can only be used against orders. They have no value for refund purposes.

Q. What payment methods do we accept?

We accept PayPal, Google Checkout, Bank Transfer ( not the pain it used to be with the take up of Faster Payments) and Credit Cards via a PayPal Website Payments Pro Gateway.

Q. I want to place an order but the item isnt in stock, when do you take payment? (Changed 26th September 2008)

A. We intended to only take funds when items are in stock, However the time taken to process payments and the number of declined cards when funds taken means that we are from today 26th September going to charge cards on order. We will trial this for 2 weeks to see if it allows us to process orders more quickly. We understand for far off pre-orders this might be an issue, so please email us if this is the case.

Q. Do we offer extra discounts or special offers to groups and clubs?

A. Yes, use the "Contact Us" form and introduce yourselves we will negotiate something with you.

Q. I see mention of extra discounts for larger orders, what are they? Note these have changed with the recent changes some suppliers trade terms.

A. We think we already offer the best prices in the UK and Europe but as an extra incentive to place larger orders we have introduced the following extra discounts:

On orders >£100 to £300 an extra discount of 1% will be applied.

On orders >£300 to £600 an extra discount of 2% will be applied.

On orders >£600 to £1000 an extra discount of 3% will be applied.

On orders >£1001 and up an extra discount of 4% will be applied.

Q. What happens if I place an order that contains Pre Order Items and those available now?

The order will ship when the final item is in stock. Therefore please inform us if you would like to ship items seperately and we will send an invoice for the extra shipping.

Q. What do our order statuses mean?

Pending = Order has been placed but is awaiting payment to be authorised.

Processing = Order has been placed and payment has been authorised.

Awaiting Stock = Following Processing an order will be placed with suppliers the status will be Awaiting Stock while we wait for any items to be delivered.

Pre Order = The order contains Pre order items and will be shipped when the final item is in stock. If you need something shipped earlier please email us for a shipping upgrade.

Part Shipped = Usually it means the majority of your order has been shipped, but an item was either out of stock or unavailable. The outstanding item(s) will either be shipped as soon as back in stock or the items will be refunded.

Order Dispatched and Complete = The order has been packed and shipped. A copy of the certificate of posting will be available by email within 24 hours.

Q. Order process, what do you actually do with my order?

We attempt first to fulfil the order from stock (should ship within 2-3 days) and if not it gets added to our next supplier order (ships in 3-6 days). I would like to point out that occasionally we have a backlog.

Q. What happens if I order something and it is not available.

Sometimes products are removed from sale by suppliers without notice, in this instance we will offer an alternative or a refund.

Q. What currencies do we accept?

We only accept Payment in GBP, sometimes your card company will charge you for the conversion to GBP, Also the Currency indicator on the store is only an indicator. The GB price is the one your purchase is based upon. This sometimes causes issues with Foreign Bank Transfers, so please be careful to ensure you send the correct amount in GBP and that you take the fees for sending us funds via Bank Transfers.
