War rages among the stars of the 41st millenium, with vast fleets of ships travelling across the galaxy with deadly cargoes - entire armies carried in their holds. At any time, thousands upon thousands of campaigns are taking place - millions of footsoldiers facing-off, colossal war machines crawling across no-mans-land - in the hope of suppressing some ancient foe, or settling a score. 

All great campaigns must start with a crucial and decisive action - Planetfall - the mass deployment of forces to the planet surface, in the hope of dislodging the first line of enemy forces, and gathering objectives. These actions are incredibly risky, and usually result in mass casualties - but can prove to be incredibly important in breaking the enemy, and achieving mission objectives. 

Planetstrike is an expansion of Warhammer 40,000 which introduces a series of rules designed for the attack and defense of a stronghold or settlement. With new rules, Force Organisation Charts, and Game Types, this book offers a new and exciting element to 40k gameplay.
