The Kroot Carnivore Squad are the Tau s closest thing to a close combat specialist unit. They are capable at range, however, and when hiding in a terrain, such as woods or a ruin, can quickly become a major nuisance to any enemy. Use the Kroot to defend your flanks, counter assaulting anything which comes to near, and giving your Fire Warriors the support if necessary.
