How do I get a shipping quote?

Simple! Look at the picture below. If you add something to your cart you need to click on the "View Basket" button

Once you are in your basket, you need to look for the "Shipping Estimator" as highlighted in the below image:

Note there is a pair of dropdown boxes. Select your Country first and a list of available Counties/States will be listed. Then click on "show shipping" and you will see the shipping quote for the items in your basket as below:

Shipping is a perpetual issue for webstores. It's a pain to discover your amazing bargain is no longer the bargain you thought it was when you get to checkout. So how do we deal with this? I'd like to say it was magic but it isnt. Some items are cheap to ship, others are suprisingly expensive. It is generally a result of weight. We will only charge what it costs us to ship an item, we will not make any profit on shipping costs. When you checkout you will be given quite a few shipping options, you are not obliged to choose the cheapest or most expensive etc but I would advise on a large UK order to choose one of the Courier options as not only do they give great value (upto 30Kg in weight) they will mean your delivery arrives promptly and is trackable. Also note that the items in the catalog have a weight multiplier (20%) applied to ensure the weight of the packaging is included in the final calculation. This is to ensure that an order will not be overweight for the shipping method chosen. If the final package weight is less than calculated in the cart, then we will refund you the difference, all errors will be in the customer's favour.

Important: Flames of War The majority of Flames of War items have zero weight and ship worldwide for free. (minimum order £10 to qualify), if mixed with non FOW items you only pay for the shipping of the non FOW items. You of course can select the various speedier shipping services such as Courier and pay the upgrade fee as shown in the cart. If you place an order of multiple items that contains a Pre-Order, the order will be shipped when the final product is in stock. Also if you specify an incorrect address we are not responsible for non delivery of an item so please please please make sure you enter your address correctly and clearly.

UK:

A large number of shipping options are available and will be visible at checkout.
The majority of orders over £150 will be delivered by Courier for a fixed fee of £6.35

Europe:

Though Royal Mail see Europe as one big lump regarding costs, couriers don't. So at the moment we have Airmail and Surface Mail available with various courier options being added daily to the webstore. Contact us for courier quotes for areas not yet added as they are certainly available but just not yet inserted into the databases. Any item over 2Kg not sent my courier will be split into 2 or more packages

Australia and NZ:

Any orders over £200 will be begin to take advantage of subsidised courier shipping. The subsidy grows the more you spend. Oz for some reason is very expensive to ship parcels to but we will do our best to offer the best deal possible.

Airmail and Surface Mail options are available, however, be warned that 12 weeks is the quoted time for a parcel to reach you by the Surface option. Both include insurance and require a signature by default. These services have a 2Kg weight limit. Again as per Europe, we are able to split the order into multiple parcels. Therefore if Surface/Airmail is chosen please be aware that any single item over 2Kg may have been opened and spread between the packages.

Rest Of The World:

Surface and Airmail available, with couriers being added all the time. If you know of any alternative shipping carriers that can give us great rates then let us know!

General Shipping Notes:

Airmail:

If an order is sent Via Airmail, it may be seperated into multiple shipments as there are weight and size limits on our Airmail service (2kg). Please dont be alarmed if you receive a small package that only contains part of your order. Airmail generally does not allow for parcels to be tracked unless you have specifically paid for a tracked service.

Aerosols:

Aerosols CANNOT be sent by Air or surface shipping postage, and can only be shipped by surface courier service where applicable when ordered.

Important:

When you place an order the estimated dispatch time is shown on each item. We aim to get the orders packaged and out the door as soon as possible but at busy times and after public holidays there can be a small backlog. Also bear in mind the delivery method selected does not impact the processing-packing-dispatch process. It is simple the method that your order is conveyed to you.
