In 16th Century Japan, rival Warlords would raise vast armies of thousands of skilled, and well-disciplined fighters. The armies of the warring states would then clash in a bid to gain as power - with the ultimate prize being for their leader to rise to the level of Shogun (if the level of Shogun were to be achieved, it is said that the military leader would have influence over all - even the Emperor himself.)

During these battles, the Ashigaru proved themselves to be a vital backbone unit in the Warlords armies - standard footsoldiers were armed with vicious spears, and were clad in traditional armour.

This Boxed Set contains 25 Plastic miniatures. These models are supplied unpainted, and assembly may also be required.
