Adeptus Titanicus Warhound Scout Titans Information

Adeptus Titanicus is an exciting game, from Games Workshop, based around the combat between Battle Titans - some of the toughest war machines in the Imperium of Man!

The game is set during the Horus Heresy, a time where brother fought brother to decide the fate of Mankind. Playing as Princeps Seniores of a Titan maniple, you will take charge of a variety of war engines using unique Command Terminals. You will become their commander, barking orders to lead your models to a ferocious victory.

Playing Adeptus Titanicus will require you to manage and control the different systems of your Titans, from their void shields and plasma reactors to a variety of deadly weaponry. You will need to keep on your toes - if you push your reactor too hard there will be repercussions...

Adeptus Titanicus has a very simplistic but clever ruleset, including Orders and Stratagems that add extra depth to the simplicity of the game. You will be able to purchase a limited amount of Stratagems before you play, allowing you to make use of battlefield assets and call in orbital strikes. As for the Orders, these can be issued by Titans to increase your models' repair, movement, and additional systems or even fire out of the normal sequence.

Although this ruleset is very easy to learn you are still given three very different ways to play:

  • Open play has few restrictions, allowing you to craft your own missions.
  • Narrative play is story driven, using scenarios from the greatest battles of the Horus Heresy series.
  • Matched play is designed for competitive games, utilising victory points and tactical objectives for balanced play.

Warhound Scout Titans are are unique among the war engines of the Adeptus Titanicus, unlike the larger variants, the Warhouds rely on speed and manoeuvrability instead of overwhelming firepower. Often Warhounds will hunt in packs to ambush and subdue larger more powerful prey.

The Adeptus Titanicus Warhound Scout Titans set contains,

  • 2x Warhound Scout Titans
  • All four weapon options

Please note:

  • Miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly may be required.

War-puppy power!

Excellent for either bolstering your existing force or providing a basic two player game should you be starting out in 'Titanicus.

Experienced modellers will find these Titans easy to assemble and magnitize, but beginners should remember to purchase 5*1mm magnets and will need to carefully slice part A-18(weapon end) in order to fit the magnets. You must use super-glue to bond the magnets as plastic-glue is too weak. The waist connection can also be magnetized but its a little fiddly compared to the arms. Oh, don't forget magnet polarity! Watch some youtube videos for guidence...

Its recommended you paint the armour pieces separately, and to work on the legs first before the upper body.

If you are starting out with a copy of the ruleset and a single pack of these, then consider leaving the top carapace unglued. There are four carapaces provided of which two are Loyalist designs and two Traitors. Once painted the carapaces will stay on nicely( even if you hold the model upside down) and you can change them...

With a good selection of eight weapons( in four pairs ), you cannot go wrong with a pair of these "war-puppies".
