British Commandos are specialist raiders who take to the battlefield with as little equipment as possible - their weapons and equipment are specially lightened to allow them to move fast in order to evade danger. The Vickers Machine Gun was originally aircraft mounted gun, but was later adapted for tripod use - and teams of two men armed with a Vickers could lay down valuable supressing fire while their comrades undertook whichever deadly mission they were assigned.
