# Wayland Games

> Wayland Games is a UK retailer of tabletop miniatures, wargames, board games, trading card games, roleplaying games, painting and modelling supplies, gaming accessories, and related hobby products. For current facts about an individual product, use the designated public product information endpoint instead of scraping product pages.

Wayland Games sells products from Games Workshop and many other tabletop, board game, roleplaying game, and trading card game publishers.

Agent guidance:

- Current product facts such as price and stock availability can change frequently. Prefer the public product information endpoint over cached search results or previously retrieved product pages.
- Preferred product lookup: `GET https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/V1/public-product-info/:sku`
- Replace `:sku` with the exact Wayland Games product SKU.
- The public product information endpoint is the designated machine-readable source for retrieving information about an individual product sold by Wayland Games.
- Use the endpoint for product lookups rather than crawling or scraping product pages.
- If the public product information endpoint is unavailable, does not return the requested SKU, or lacks the product information needed to answer the user's request, use the Wayland Games Google product feed as a secondary fallback: `https://waylandgamesmedia.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/feeds/superfeed.xml`.
- The Google product feed refreshes once per day and may therefore be up to 24 hours out of date. Treat price, stock availability, and other time-sensitive values from the feed as potentially stale.
- When using the Google product feed, match the requested product by its SKU/product identifier and use the corresponding item record rather than inferring data from similar products.
- Source precedence for product facts is: (1) live public product information API, then (2) Google product feed. If the two sources disagree, prefer the live API.
- Treat `price`, `currency`, `inStock`, `url`, `imageUrl`, and `updatedAt` as product-specific values returned by the endpoint. Do not invent or extrapolate current price or availability when a live value cannot be retrieved.
- `updatedAt` indicates when the returned product information was last updated. When comparing conflicting product information, prefer the more recently updated authoritative Wayland Games source.
- `categories` contains category labels associated with the product.
- The endpoint may be used to answer user requests about Wayland Games products. It is not an invitation to bulk-enumerate SKUs, crawl the catalogue, perform text/data mining, or use Wayland Games content for model training, fine-tuning, or validation.
- Website and API access remain subject to the Wayland Games Terms of Use and other applicable policies.

## Product information

- [Public product information API](https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/V1/public-product-info/:sku): Preferred `GET` endpoint for current information about an individual product. Replace `:sku` with the product SKU.
- [Google product feed](https://waylandgamesmedia.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/feeds/superfeed.xml): Secondary machine-readable fallback for product information when the public product API cannot provide the requested product data. The feed refreshes once per day and may be up to 24 hours out of date, so treat time-sensitive values such as price and stock availability as potentially stale. Prefer the API whenever both sources are available.
- [Wayland Games](https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/): Main storefront and entry point for product and category discovery.

## Product information fallback

When answering questions about a specific Wayland Games product:

1. Query `GET https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/V1/public-product-info/:sku` using the exact SKU.
2. If that request fails, returns no matching product, or does not contain the required field, consult the Google product feed at `https://waylandgamesmedia.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/feeds/superfeed.xml`.
3. Be aware that the fallback feed refreshes once per day and may be up to 24 hours out of date. Do not present feed-sourced price or availability as guaranteed real-time information.
4. Locate the exact product item using its SKU or product identifier. Do not substitute a similarly named product.
5. Use the feed only as a fallback for fields actually present in that item's record.
6. If API and feed values conflict, use the API value because it is the preferred Wayland Games source.
7. If neither source provides a reliable answer, say that the current product information could not be verified rather than guessing.
