Deathworld: Eldritch Ruins Information

There are a great number of planets within the Warhammer 40,000 universe and an even larger number of known Xenos life forms, both animal and plant life. There are some planets where the entire ecosystem seems consciously hostile to all foreign life and each and every element of the native flora and fauna represents a real danger to any human, these are known collectively throughout the Imperium as Deathworlds. Only the bravest and toughest warriors in the universe would dare venture on to the surface of these hostile worlds, let alone live there. The most infamous Deathworld in the galaxy is Catachan, home to the renowned Catachan Jungle fighters regiments of the Imperial Guard.
