Over the next few hours the site will have a small upgrade, it wont look any different, however what will improve massively is the search facility.

So much so that it will actually work :)

On May 31st GW will be raising prices across their ranges. To take advantage of current pricing please place your orders asap as we will be shutting the store for 2 days while we apply the updates and make some other change sat the end of the week.

We hate part shipping orders. It takes up a huge amount of time and we sometimes will not know for weeks when an outstanding item is going to be back in stock.

It also annoys you the customer. so as of today  March 29th 2010 we will introduce a new Part Shipping Policy to hopefully get you your orders quicker and reduce the massive overhead on us searching for items.

If you place an order and when it is packed an item is unavailable, the missing items and its shipping portion will be refunded if we think the wait will be excessive. You are free to reorder the items seperately and we will place that order into a back ordered items queue but the main part of your order will not be held up.

Because of expensive bank charges we will refund payments made by foreign bank transfer by Voucher. all other payments will be refunded in the manner in which they are made.

We have noticed a bug with earning of Loyalty Points. We are investigating and will resolve asap.

As a compensation we are holding off VAT increase price rises until resolved.

I'm posting this from the office at the new Warehouse... We begin our move tomorrow so over the next few days you might notice emails and helpdesk tickets are responded to in fits and spurts but we should be fully functional from here by Friday.

Our Phone number will be changing also but I wont list it until I know the phone system and all extensions are working as I dont want any calls getting lost in eternal hold music loops.

As you are probably aware the UK is experiencing severe weather at the moment.
We are working as hard as possible to minimize the impact but some deliveries to us, and collections from carriers from us are being delayed.

Also some staff are having issues getting to the warehouse.

Please bear with us, we hope that we can catch up as soon as the weather improves.

We are likely to have staff in the warehouse every day over the Christmas and New Year period as we have so much to do to prepare for our warehouse move.

But many suppliers are away for holidays so we might be out of stock of items longer than normal. Almost all suppliers return to normal on January 4th so full service should return on that date.

Christmas ordering deadlines

Its that time of year again, and to make sure you get your gifts for Xmas please follow these simple rules.

For GW items the dates are as follows, for non GW you can add 4 days. So you have longer before the cutoff.

In the UK, order before Monday 14th December to ensure you get your delivery by Christmas, please also select Courier or first class postage option. Do not select Standard parcel and expect the delivery to be speedy, our postmen and snowed under with boxes this time of year.

Rest of world, same dates apply but please make sure you have selected a Courier option to meet these timescales. An Airmail package sent on the 22nd December will not arrive before xmas so give us as much time as possible to get your goods to you
