New US and Canada UPS shipping options
2009/06/06We have managed to do a deal with UPS to get packages from here in the UK to anywhere in the USA and Canada in 2 days at a silly price. Normally this service would cost us our first child and one Milllion Dollars, ok a slight exaggeration but you get my drift. These prices are now reflected in the shipping prices on our store. AFPO's are included but obviously will take slightly longer.
We know the Airmail service can be slower than we would like and the lack of a signature and no tracking is a concern.. So this should be a great solution.
So you must be thinking how much will this cost? Well the rates we have are based on weight... and the UPS option is cheaper than Airmail :) (over 5KG), but with a flat rate below that weight of £20 or approx $37
As an example a Citadel Realm of Battle will cost £35 to send which at current exchange rate is about $60. Thats 15kg of Goodies.... or approx 15 Battlions of figures...
News about GW terms and prices.
2009/05/20Just a quick heads up to those that might be interested.
GW's recent announcement of their changing terms and conditions mean a few changes to online retailers like ourselves.
Well actually they dont make alot of difference to us. While we won't use our site as a way of making comment generally on changing markets we will use this chance to express our opinion as many customers have asked what the impact will be on us.
The answer is pretty much no impact on us, you might see prices rise a couple of percent but that will pretty much be it. We think the new conditions benefit professional retailers or etailers like ourselves that are willing to make the significant investments in their business plans.
We are still fully committed to becoming the premiere place to buy games online. We do have lots of news to be announced in our latest newsletter (due in a few days ) so I will save all the juicy stuff for that.

GW Price rises
2009/05/18On June 1st GW will be rasing some prices and changing their trade terms. This will impact all online retailers of their products but we are confident that we will remain the best value place to buy your products.

Flames of War items have zero weight and ship worldwide for free. (minimum order £10 to qualify), if mixed with non FOW items you only pay for the shipping of the non FOW items. You of course can select the various speedier shipping services such as Courier and pay the upgrade fee as shown in the cart.
Royal Mail prices change soon
2009/04/04The Royal Mail are increasing their prices from April 6th.
To reduce the impact of these changes we will be holding our RM shipping to the old prices until the 20th of April.
Helpdesk is live
2009/04/04Email is a pain, its easy to miss a mail or not see a message in a thread of conversation. Therefore we have implemented a new helpdesk system that will replace the contact us system we were using.
This means that you can log in to our site and see the entire discussion regarding any issue. It makes things much easier of us to ensure nothing is missed and in turn improves our service to you.

Email Spam and Junk filters
2009/03/18We are very good at responding to emails quickly. Usually within a few minutes from receipt in normal UK working hours. If you have not received a reply to a question, please check carefully that our replies have not been caught by any junk or spam filter.
