These are an inferior class of warrior and, like the clans, make up the major part of the armies of the Otokodate. The majority come from the country and towns, and are known as heinin, they follow the rules of their superior warriors, whom they obey faithfully in times of peace. They are the infantry of the army and are known as warriors with nimble feet or Ashigaru.

Torii is a skirmish wargame set on feudal Japan. It makes use of Zenit Miniatures' range of Kensei miniatures. In Torii you'll have to lead a group of about 8-12 warriors that will have work together to accomplish their clan objectives.Torii is quick to learn, with great tactical and strategic depth, with a duration of about 45-60 minutes.
