Ashes Ascendancy is the next era of the expandable card game Ashes - a new entry point for the series and a continuation of Ashes Reborn. Fully compatible with all of Ashes Reborn, Ashes Ascendancy marks the introduction of two new magic types for Phoenixborn to wield, the same competitive card play you know and love, plus a new type of foe for players to take down in solo or co-op battles.

When Jericho Whitepetal forsook the Throne, she fractured the power of the newly assembled Phoenix, tearing it apart. None, not even Jericho herself, knew the anguish she caused or the silent scream that rang out, echoing across worlds. Now, the vile Red Rains have made that psychic scream of torment manifest upon Argaia. The Phoenix has come and it hungers for revenge, seeking to slaughter every Phoenixborn it can find. And so Jericho, along with Orrick Gilstream, Tristan Darkwater, and the nefarious Rowan Umberend, have joined forces to stop this dangerous new Chimera.
