River Dragons

In River Dragons, you want to move your pawn across a bridge-like system of planks to the other side of the board. An easy task! Or at least it would be if everyone worked together, but alas, they don't. Instead, you work alone, side by side, each convinced that your way is the best.

In terms of gameplay, players simultaneously select five action cards to perform from the nine available actions and arrange them in the order they should be played. The turn is then resolved one card at a time. Actions allow players to place foundations of planks, place planks, move their pawns, cancel other players' actions, or remove planks or foundation stones. As you might expect for a design with simultaneous action selection, the game is rather chaotic.

The 2012 edition of the game, River Dragons, features a double-sided game board not present in previous editions, with one side of the board featuring piles of rocks on which you place stones (as in the original Delta Dragon), while the other side has a featureless river on which players can place stones anywhere.
